Testing

Gonna do something new here to try and keep the blog rolling. Most interesting text I sent today: Smells like cabbage and cigars in the hallway. Ooh, this is getting good. Share the post “Testing” FacebookPinterestShare…Email Continue reading

November!

All the leaves are almost gone. What the hell! Oh right, it’s almost winter. Thinking of scrapping the blog. Turns out there’s not much to say bloggy-style when you’re the furthest from miserable that you’ve ever been. Imagine! Here are some things I find funny today: Extended MSN names that explain how the person is feeling through lyrics, quotations, or a jumble of obscenities and punctuation marks Cats when they hide their legs under their bodies and put their head flat on the bed to… Continue reading

Realizations in Life:

Old people have money because they are done paying their debts and thus can actually keep their money earned/received. In that, I am nowhere near old yet. We got business cards and I like them so much that it kills me inside to hand them out because they’re really great quality. I told my dad to take some to work. At first he split the pile so he had almost 1/3 of them. I said “NO NO! Not that many!!” Do I want to admire… Continue reading

Hi.

It’s 1am. It’s ladybug season. It’s also the season where your superintendent decides it’s O.K. to go into your apartment without prior vocal or written consent. I’m getting really, really stressed out. I can honestly say, aside from job hunting, I’ve not felt this stretched thin mentally in a while. We’ve never missed a rent payment, never been late, always done everything right in this place, and the people who run the show in this building are being supremely ridiculous toward us all of a… Continue reading

There’s this weird feeling in my stomach today. 22 years ago this day, my good friend Ellie was born. She became one of the most sensible yet most adorably fun people I have ever been lucky enough to meet. I was always in awe of her positive outlook on everything. Even when we didn’t agree, which was rare, I always understood where she was coming from. She had about a billion friends because she was such an easy person to get to know and love.… Continue reading

Things That Are Stupid #12983

My nana forwarded this email on to me today: If I happened to show up on your door step crying, Would you Care? If I called you and asked you to pick me up because something Happened, Would you come? If I needed a shoulder to cry on, Would you give me Yours? Do you know what the relationship is between your two eyes? They blink together, they move together, they cry together, They see things together and they sleep together, BUT THEY NEVER SEE… Continue reading

Just now as I was about to gather my clothes from the laundry room, I stepped out of my apartment and gasped. “RICO!” I scolded, as the cat bounded back down the hall to greet me. How the hell did he get out of my place? A girl appeared in the hall walking toward me with a smile, and it hit me. Those familiar white sock paws, that tabby fur and rascally appearance… it wasn’t Rico at all. It was the cat across the hall… Continue reading

We went to the monkey/lion/three-legged jaguar place (no one cares about the parrots) yesterday. We saw no animals, but we did see a big forest with thin wire fencing around it and a bunch of signs basically telling us to go away. Amazing! Finally, this place is picking up a little. Mixi woke me up to cuddle at 9 this morning. She’s getting fatter by the day, but no less bitchy. I like her. My diet lately consists of coffee and peanut butter cups. Share… Continue reading
